Dear Future Me,
If you're reading this, you've officially made it through M2 and are getting ready for COM6990. Before everything gets even busier, I want you to remember what M1 was like.
M1 wasn't easy. There were a lot of stressful days, especially during Immunology, where it felt like there was always more to learn. Even when things got tough, you kept going. You learned that being consistent was more important than trying to be perfect, and that changing your study habits when something wasn't working made a big difference.
Don't forget what helped you succeed. Staying on top of Anki, using board resources early, and doing practice questions instead of just reading notes helped you learn the material much better. Keep doing those things because they worked.
As you get ready for COMLEX, don't doubt yourself. There will probably be days when you feel behind or think you don't know enough, but you've felt that way before and still got through it. Just keep showing up every day, trust your study plan, and focus on getting a little better each day.
Also, remember why you started medical school. You're working toward becoming the kind of doctor you've always wanted to be. The long hours and hard work are worth it, even when it doesn't feel like it.
Keep working hard, take care of yourself, and don't forget to enjoy the journey once in a while. You've already come a long way, and you're capable of finishing strong.
Good luck you've got this, praying for you!
