Dear Olivia (رؤية),
The last 10 days of Ramadan are coming soon. It\'s August 1st now, 2:32 a.m. on a Tuesday, you know how I always have trouble going to bed on time (It\'s something you should really work on). Today was the day we went to go see Shelly at Harbor. The talk we had with mommy didn\'t really go anywhere, I\'m sure you remember. I hope she\'s opened up more. Wow I really don\'t know what to say. I have so many questions for you. Where do you live now? Did you ever manage to get away from you know who? Are you married yet? If so, what\'s our husband like? I\'m sure he\'s great, I hope you wouldn\'t settle for anything less than the best. Someone who loves Allah just as much as I know you do. If my plans go smoothly (Insha\'Allah) we should be about to enter our Junior year in college? Please tell me you\'re pursuing an Anthropology career, you know how much I want that for us. I wish I could talk to you right now. I wish I could ask you if things really will get better. What\'s going on with mommy? Is she more accepting of us? Did she go to our wedding (if we had one)? Do we have any kids? If you can send letters to the past, do it for me. Let me know that it\'ll be alright. I hope by now we\'ve learned to pray correctly and fast accordingly and read Qur\'An. Don\'t ever change because someone else might want you to. Be the strong Muslim woman I know you are. Your 17 year old self is depending on you. I got us through this now you get us through the rest of the way. We have Allah to guide us. We\'re never alone. No matter what happens never give up on Allah because he\'ll never give up on you. I love you, don\'t ever forget your creator. Oh and happy 20th birthday, dork.
