Dear Future Me,
When I think about success, I don't picture a title, a salary, or a list of achievements. I picture a life that feels true to who I we are.
I hope you are happy. I hope you wake up every morning feeling free to make your own choices instead of living according to someone else's expectations. I hope you had the courage to build a future that you chose for yourself.
I hope you became a diplomat, not because of the prestige, but because it has always been your dream to connect people, represent your country, and make a positive impact beyond borders. I hope your work allows you to bring people together, encourage dialogue, and leave the world a little better than you found it.
I also hope you never forgot what matters most. Stay close to your family. Laugh with your friends. Make time for the people who loved you before any accomplishment or recognition. Success means nothing if you have no one to share it with.
