Happy Birthday future Me! How's it going? I hope things are doing all right.
Recap of what happened just now: We had watched that one music video we made in Mr. Mackie's English class. Yes, the "we will rise above the storm" one. Hopefully this experience is still important to you, even after all these years. Its now a few days before graduation from West Anchorage High School (go class of 2025), and, as your final assignment, writing this letter.
The final band concert was the night before, where you stood along the edge of the stage with your fellow graduates-to-be. You laughed at the fact that your final note played in the West Auditorium was an e-natural, because you seemed to have an obsession with that same letter (Rush E reference?). That night you said your goodbyes, as you then received a text from an old acquaintance. Only future me knows what happened after.
Anyways, 2025 me decided to check in on you, and hope 2030 me decides to pass it on.
