Dear Potty Brain,

This is Jennifer Du and if I am correct, it is around August 1, 2013? Hopefully... I honestly wish you a really great birthday, Sarena. You deserve it, and I don\'t know how to let you know that you are awesome, and magnificent and fun and daring and unique. I don\'t know, but I\'m trying to let you know in this letter. First off... you are such a good friend, y\'know? You\'re not perfect, but you sure don\'t need to be and I don\'t think anybody cares anyway. We all like you because you\'re you. So, remember all our good days together? I know I\'m writing this like we\'re all going to die tomorrow, but you never know. I don\'t want to leave without letting everybody know how much I really really care for them, even know I might not show it sometimes. Remember how we met in grade 7, and how we weren\'t BFF\'s right away? I liked it because it meant I had to dig deeper to find the heart of gold. We had to figure each other out, and then we clicked. All the days we conspired against the world, and when we pretended to be spies, and the secrecy about trivial but lovely matters. Our friendship is made of ordinary but magical moments. I love that. I love how you\'re so philosophical and thoughtful yet playful and fun. I love how you\'re shy and outgoing at the same time and how empathetic and intellectual you\'re damn brain is! Just... THE FEELS, MAN.

I feel so sad, but I have to say it. If... one day, for some reason, we\'re apart, I\'ll feel really good to know that you\'re doing something you love and being with people you love. So be okay, please. Quickly; don\'t give up on people, don\'t give up on yourself, move on, and most importantly, ENJOY LIFE! ...because it\'s amazing, like you. April 29, 2013
